About

Most market information is a summary of what already happened.

A government commits to expanding a grid. A regulator changes a safety standard. A manufacturer announces a plant. The reporting almost always stops at the companies named in the first paragraph — while the consequences keep travelling through suppliers, materials, equipment and infrastructure. 8Signals exists to make that path visible while it is still forming.

Where the build actually is

Select a phase. 8Signals shows what exists, not what is planned to exist.

01Running

Collection

Regulatory filings, government and central bank publications, regulator notices, vetted news and public discussion are polled continuously and stored with full provenance — publisher, URL, timestamp and original payload.

You can see every captured item on the live feed, each linking back to its original source.

Principles

+Evidence before narrative

Anything presented as fact links back to a stored source with its publisher, date and URL. Analysis and prediction are labelled as such.

+Models assist, they do not decide

Language models summarise, classify and propose relationships. They never invent a price, a filing, a contract or a company, and proposed relationships stay unverified until evidence supports them.

+Confirmation must be independent

Syndication is not corroboration. Repetition of one wire story does not raise confidence.

+Nothing is quietly deleted

Published views remain on the record permanently, whether they worked or not.

+Information, not instruction

8Signals classifies events and exposure. It does not issue buy or sell recommendations, and it is not a financial adviser.

8Signals is early, and says so.

The collection layer runs today. Scoring, causal chains and company exposure are being built in sequence. This site shows what genuinely exists — nothing more.
